In 2007 after a visit from Andrew Twitty, Rebekah Twitty, and Michael Stratton, a vision was formed to help children from the area to have a chance at better education. With a building already available, the work was started to sort through books and find material suitable for the level of the children. After much prayer and council, the board of EAFC decided to start EAFC Primary School in Gurupura India; a school open to all children willing to come. The school will be starting with six kindergarten age children and within the next five years we hope to see it grow to K-8th grades. Maria Manoo is the teacher and Prema will be the teacher assistant. For Only $30 a month, one child can be supported to attend this school. Every penny recieved will go towards their education. We will take no administrative fees out of what is recieved. This $30 a month will include all of their education supplies, meals, and board in the school house.

Official Opening Of The EAFC Standard School

On June 24 there was a ceremony held at EAFC headquarters in Gurupura India. The EAFC Standard School held its official opening "banquet" with almost everyone from the village attending. The ribbon was cut by Pastor Michael Stratton, a school teacher from Lexington, SC, and a meal was prepared for all who attended. There was much excitement in the air as all of the children who will be attending the school watched the doorway be opened by Pastor Stratton and Pastor Daniel. One might question: All of this excitement for the opening of a school? The answer is simple: this is more than just a place to learn, this is a place that will change lives. James 2:18 states : "Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do." We are not only telling these children and this community that God loves them, we are trying to show them by our actions. A school is more than a place of learning, it is a place of opportunity. A place for children to find hope of a better life.

"The King will answer and say to them, 'Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, [even] the least [of them], you did it to Me.'
Matthew 25:40 (NASB)
